A real time computer monitoring program for my daughters laptop?

Recently at my daughters school I saw a demonstration of a program that teachers use to monitor student computer use. They could view every students monitor in real time, and could even pause whatever the student was doing and write comments on the child’s screen like – ‘Are you on task’ or ‘I don’t think thats appropriate’.

Is there a similar program that can be used by parents? We have three computers, they are not on a network, but the share wireless internet.
