What are signs to look for to know if your computer has monitoring software, like screenshot programs to track activity? Most of these programs are made to be undetectable so what are folders to look in/tells that it has been installed on your computer? Trying to hook up a computer monitoring system?

I am trying to set up a monitoring system for a local business. What he wants, and used to have, is a video switch with a vga input from the computer, to a bnc output to his video monitoring system. This way he was able to view what was going on on the screen of the computer at any time. His old switch died, and I have spent several hours trying to find something that will work in it’s stead.
