tkrsoilbar asked:

I currently have 2 xbox360 consoles, 3 laptops, and 2 computers using the wireless routers.

One router is specifically for the lan phone because I dont have a phone jack in the wall

Everything else in the house is connected wirelessly to another router. Xbox live has been running slow

Any suggestions as to how i should set up my connection for optimum results?

I suggest you tray to have everything wired, or at least the stationary items like the desktops and the XBOXES. Also depending on the router you have, you can try and find a new frimware and that is from hackers.

Those types of firmwares are written without and FCC constraints and the wirelless signal is supposed to be more powerful and so on. But try to see how everything works if you first have the xboxes wired. It also depends how you actually use the two routers.

I am assuming that you have a lead router probably the one with the phone and from that one you connect the other one that give internet to the rest of your devices. Also look at the channel on which the wirelles router work. they should be on different channels.

And if in general there are a lot of wireles router from your neigbors, then the 2.4 Ghz spectrum gets flooded with stuff, thats is why you should try to go wired as much as you can.
